Welcome to the Colorado Chinese News, one of the nation's most popular weekly Chinese newspapers. The purpose of the Colorado Chinese News is to serve Chinese communities in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. Since it is based in the Denver metropolitan area, it is in a strong central location from which a wide range of businesses and subscribers can be reached every week. The News delivers its newspaper to over forty-five different locations for free distribution to the community. Its present circulation is 6500 and growing. The News’ popular website includes an advanced web version of each paper identical to the printed version, but also fully navigable online. Thus, every advertiser with the News gets both printed and online advertising with each edition.

The Colorado Chinese News very much prides itself on its diversity. It provides a rich resource of useful and interesting information for its readers on subjects such as world news, art profiles, cultural events, business information, column series and local news. Also in the weekly publication, Colorado’s Chinese people are given the opportunity to exchange opinions in a reader box on issues pertaining to the local state of the community. The News also invites professionals within the community to submit columns as "Self-help guides" for its readers.

The Colorado Chinese News is also pleased with successfully helping to build communication channels between the Chinese/Asian community and government entities such as local state universities, the City and County of Denver, the cities of Lakewood, Aurora, and Colorado Springs, the State of Colorado, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

The Colorado Chinese News also publishes a Chinese Yellow Pages annually. These extensive pages include service sections such as health, investments, and housing.  A key feature is its telephone directory, which assists both the businesses in Chinese communities and the general population who find Chinese a more comfortable language to read and use. The Chinese Yellow Pages have won multiple awards for their ability to meet the needs of Chinese Americans. It is a regional presence that serves communities in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Chinese Yellow Pages are targeted to the fast growing, affluent, and highly educated Chinese market. The Pages are delivered directly to the offices of every Chinese business it advertises, and upon request, to non-Chinese businesses as well.

As an added incentive, those who advertise in the Colorado Chinese News also automatically get their business posted in the Chinese Yellow Pages, as a token of appreciation from News President, Wendy Chao.

Wendy Chao has received many awards and honors for her work with the Colorado Chinese News. These include: U.S. Small Business Administration 1997 Minority Small Business Advocate of the Year; American Cancer Society 2002 Media Award of Excellence; Denver Business Journal Outstanding Woman in Business (Communications) 2003; and The 2005 Girl Scouts Mile Hi Council Women of Distinction Award.

Together, these two dynamic publications continue to grow in circulation. They reach directly to the ever-increasing buying power of Chinese Americans.  Let the Colorado Chinese News and the Chinese Yellow Pages be your starting place for effective and successful advertising to the Chinese community and its burgeoning market.
